Strangers at the beach

When getting to know somebody, the first impression guides the way. However, reasonable opinion can only form gradually. In doing so, time is crucial as it determines the desire for further contact.

If things work out well, we like the little nuances and details reflected in the interaction, and strangers grow friends. As such, they become part of the personal life, enrich it, and at some point, they are indispensable. While bonding, we built up memories, sharing the good and the bad.

But life frequently consists of decision-making, and its consequence is change. As transient as happiness and sadness feel, temporary is who we are. In time, friends might take too many different turns that no longer merge.

Though this is a sad realization, the memories will always remain. Finally, the process of grieving slowly guides us to the conclusion that this transience also means that new strangers will cross the way.

Katwijk aan zee

In this photo, you can see the beach in Katwijk aan Zee in the summer of 2020. Because of the Corona pandemic, the usually crowded beach was almost empty as tourism was very limited in the Netherlands.

If you are looking for a stunning beach to spend your day relaxing and admiring the beauty of nature, then look no further than Katwijk aan Zee Beach. Located on the North Sea coast in the Netherlands, this picturesque beach is a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The gorgeous white sand stretches as far as the eye can see, with views of the Dutch countryside in the background. The crystal-clear waters make it an ideal spot for swimming and surfing, while its unique rock formations provide plenty of opportunities for exploring. With such breathtaking scenery, you wonโ€™t be able to resist taking photos - after all, who would want to miss out on capturing such amazing memories?

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
