The play of life’s colors

With different looks, perceptions, and charisma, we all rump around in this playground called earth. This world’s variety is what makes it so fascinating. It can surprise, touch, and move positively and negatively.

Today, it is more crucial than ever to stand out from the crowd because there is the broad assumption that this provides an individual with an exceptional value that equals affection. Yet, one frequently tends to avoid getting to know others’ individualism while being caught in this personal bubble.

Succumbing to the fear that the unknown might cause you to question your own identity will always peak in the daily grind. Staring at this uniform gray for too long will make you believe seeing vivid colors. But the actual play of life’s colors arises from the bustling contrasts.

Dutch sheep in the sunset

As I stood in the meadows of Amsterdam in July 2021, I was captivated by the beauty of the Dutch sheep in the sunset. The sky was painted with a vibrant orange and yellow hue, and it seemed to reflect off the sheep's fur. In the far back, you could see the houses of Amsterdam and the power lines that ended at a nearby “Elektriciteitscentral Diemen.” It was a beautiful sight to behold and one that I will never forget.

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
