The first impression (Bauhaus in Tel Aviv)
The first impression
It is the first impressions that count when seeing others. Often, they shine so colorfully at first glance that it is almost blinding. And because everything seems so bright and shining, allowing the feeling of inferiority to set in is tempting. If you allow yourself to feel left behind, you start making yourself smaller than you are.
However, you put others on a high pedestal and make yourself believe they are and have much more than you. Yet, when glorifying them, you miss the opportunity to look closer, but this is actually elementary. But making an effort pays off because you can see quickly that things are crumbling behind all the shiny facades - as all that glitters is not gold.
Bauhaus in Tel Aviv
I took this photo in Tel Aviv in 2022. Tel Aviv is a city that is home to some of the most iconic and stunning examples of Bauhaus architecture. This style of architecture originated in Germany during the early 20th century and has become a defining feature of Tel Aviv's skyline. It is often referred to as the “White City” due to its predominance in white-painted buildings with flat roofs and geometric shapes. Photography enthusiasts worldwide flock to Tel Aviv's streets to capture its unique architectural beauty. The city's Bauhaus architecture is an important reminder of Israel's rich history and culture, making it an essential part of any visit to Tel Aviv.
