Unexpected encounters (Guineafowl in Amstelpark)
Unexpected encounters
It is easy to remember negative experiences because evolutionary is a fundamental skill to avoid potential dangers. Though keeping an eye on yourself is necessary, the threatening situations have shifted ever since.
Since these thoughts do not bear much happiness, shifting focus to the strong memories of unexpected encounters will pay off with a high reward. They sweeten life. And though so much went mess that day, this incredible encounter still leaves me stunned and brightens my day.
Guineafowl in Amsterdam
You can see a guineafowl in Amsterdam’s Amstelpark in this photo. I took this photo in spring 2021 on the first really hot day of the season. People were all over the city because the long winter had made them long for the sun and being outside.
Guineafowl is a species of bird that is native to Africa. In recent years, however, they have also become increasingly popular in Europe - particularly in the Netherlands. They are relatively low-maintenance, for one thing. They also have a reputation for being very friendly and good with children. And, of course, they are gorgeous birds.
