Seeking the light in desolation (sunset at the Mediterranean Sea in Tel Aviv)

Seeking the light in desolation

I ran out of words long ago because when profound sadness surges, words often stutter, and painful numbness fills their place. In the depth of the moment, it feels as if the earth slips away, leaving me shattered.

While apathetically staring on the now, the distance to where life was, to those loved, to aspirations held dear endlessly grows. Far off from treasured dreams, the core of love, and the soothing company of someone close.

When a deep ache overshadows everything, words fail, and hope seems so far away that solitude is the only companion left. While moving from day to day, caught between haunting memories and an unreachable future, indifference spreads. Yet, I won't give up on persevering until someone drags me from the dark and shows me the light again.

Sunset at the Mediterranean Sea

In the delicate embrace of twilight, the Mediterranean's serene sunset becomes a mirror, reflecting nature's vast emotions. As it bathes the horizon in gloomy hues, this canvas of nature seems to whisper tales of stillness. Each ripple on the water carries the weight of distant memories, and the scene's profound silence serves as a poignant reminder of solitude and longing. Yet, even in this desolate beauty, there lies a glimmer of hope, an unspoken promise that after every sunset, eventually, there comes a dawn.
