There is light after the shadow

As the shadow’s coolness settles on the surface, the freezing wind suddenly makes itself felt. The cold is quickly spreading, and what had felt so good a few seconds ago suddenly just turned into the opposite.

While the body is still shaking from the cold, the eyes in the distance can already draw a little hope. There is light after the shadow. As quickly as the sun had gone, it unexpectedly already showed itself from its best side again.

Houses of Rome

I took this photo in August 2021 in Rome (Italy). You can see beautiful classical houses in Rome’s city center that are covered by the late afternoon sun.

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
