A little contrast

No matter how much you try to obtain variety and diversity in life, at some point, there is always a kind of routine monotony spreading around. As it consists of the same processes, tasks, and people, excitement all goes flat little by little.

Looking for variations to boring everyday life can spice up unexceptional experiences. Such an escape from the misery of the constant monotonous repetition offers the possibility to rediscover yourself. And so, a little more contrast can suddenly create a whole new and exciting perception.

Graffiti at NDSM-Werf

I photographed this graffiti at the NDSM-Werf in Amsterdam Noord in the Summer of 2021. This place once was a shipyard, but today, you can find a lot of other things there. I love the graffiti at the NDSM-Werf in Amsterdam. It's an excellent place to explore, with many great street art pieces. Plus, there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants if you get hungry. I highly recommend checking out this area if you're ever in Amsterdam.

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
