Constructions over your head

Sometimes, a huge construction emerges if things uncontrolled pile up for too long. While one wall is stacking up on the other, a slowly growing shadow starts casting on you. Finally, everything is growing a bit over your head.

Then quickly, you find yourself persisting in shock. The darker the shadow, the greater the helplessness and the smaller you feel.
But if you cannot see the end of the construction anymore, it might help to simply take a few steps back.

Because in the end, it’s often the lack of distance to something that allows it to grow over your head.

Modern architecture

I took this photo in September 2021 in Givatayim – a suburb of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area (Gush Dan). This photo shows two of the modern architectural buildings.

Hi there, I'm Stefanie, the photographer, and author of the blog post you're reading now.
