Boom Festival 2022

I spent my summer for the fourth time in Portugal’s desert area at the best place on earth – the Boom Festival.

Though temperatures of more than 40°C on the first days were quite challenging, I enjoyed every minute of this magical place. Also, I have met so many beautiful known, and unknown souls from all over the world. Besides, I danced until the last set was over and deep-dived into this paradise of creativity.

Spending time the analog way is refreshing in a world dominated by attention-grabbing. This makes it possible to cherish time and enjoy the flow of life. Therefore, nuances finally have the chance to become apparent, resulting in personal reflection and new ideas once there is no pressure on having to do something.

Although it’s still hard to find the right words for this experience, I look forward to continuing to share my storytelling journey with fully charged batteries. Since I left my camera at home (the most challenging part ), I am still happy to share some photos with you that I took with my phone.

Thanks to everyone, and see you next year

The Boom Festival

The Boom Festival is an international music and culture festival in the municipality of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova in Portugal. It
took place for the first time in 1997. Since then, it slowly evolved into a global event of alternative culture with visitors from all over the world. The festival is 100% independent, so there are no ads. Also, it has a significant focus on sustainability. Besides mostly electronic music, there are alternative stages, workshops, movies, presentations, and art exhibitions. The 13th Boom took place on 22 July – 29 July 2022.
