Beyond the horizon

When staring too long at the horizon, one can quickly lose bearings. At times, its boundaries begin to merge with the environment. As a result, finding the focus becomes a problematic target. While one is still busy winking to gain perspective again, the reality has perhaps already changed.

As the extent of the horizon sometimes seems endless, unforeseen surprises often arise when they are expected the less. Consequently, bridges might suddenly open up, guiding the way to the lost track, where obstacles previously bogarted all attention.
